Benefits of Green Tea for Your Skin
Back in my teens, so long ago in a land far away, I first tried Green Tea while eating sushi. I had no idea what all the fuss was about, so I asked a friend, “Why is Green Tea so special?” That curiosity turned out to be a real eye-opener.

Why Green Tea is a Super Antioxidant
Internally, Green Tea is celebrated for its health benefits. It can help prevent type 2 diabetes, support cardiovascular health, and is packed with antioxidants. If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know I talk a lot about antioxidants. Why? Because they are a powerhouse that helps fight free radicals, both inside and outside the body. Free radicals can contribute to health issues including cancer, premature ageing, and brain fog. Green Tea has also been linked to improved brain function and cognitive clarity.
Green Tea for Your Skin: Face Mist, Moisturiser, and More
For skin, Green Tea is a hero ingredient. It hydrates, soothes redness, balances oil, and protects against free radicals, making it perfect for reducing acne and smoothing wrinkles.
Two of my favourite products containing Green Tea extract are the Hydrating and Toning Face Mist and the Citrus Suco Hand & Body Wash with Kale Exfoliant.

Hydrating and Toning Face Mist
This little bottle packs a punch for your face moisturiser routine and is ideal for morning, night, or even as a midday reset. Its Green Tea extract provides:
- Instant hydration to quench even the driest skin
- Calming effects for redness and inflamed areas
- Antioxidant protection, helping prevent premature ageing and damage from free radicals
- Enhanced absorption of serums and moisturisers
The mist is also pregnancy-safe, free from petrochemicals, and perfect for refreshing skin after a gym session or a long day. Spritz it onto your face before applying a face moisturiser for plump, dewy, and radiant skin.

Citrus Suco Hand & Body Wash with Kale Exfoliant
This gentle exfoliation for face and body wash combines Green Tea extract with kale and rice bran to remove dead skin cells and leave skin smooth, soft, and toned. The Green Tea extract:
- Provides antioxidant support to protect the skin from environmental stressors
- Helps balance and soothe irritated or sensitive skin
- Works alongside the gentle exfoliating properties to improve texture and promote healthy skin
Use 1–2 pumps on a wet sponge or cloth, massage gently, rinse, and follow with a hydrating product like the Day Spa Body Mousse for lasting moisture.
